Sandpiper Vacations is a proudly LGBTQ+ owned travel agency based in Columbus, Ohio, planning trips for travelers all across the country.

We plan Disney vacations, cruises, all inclusive resorts, group trips, destination weddings and custom adventures anywhere in the world. Every trip starts with a conversation about who is going and what would make it feel like theirs.

Our story

Started by two dads who love to travel

Nick and Sean Bryan started Sandpiper Vacations in August 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. It was a crazy time to open a travel agency, but it gave us the chance to build the business the way we wanted and to spend that year training and learning.

Nick has been a travel advisor since 2018, starting with Disney. A Virgin Voyages sailing in 2022 was the first time he felt completely safe being himself while traveling, and it changed how we plan for everyone. Today we put real care into finding places where every client feels that same ease and welcome.

What started as a passion for travel has grown into a team of travel advisors across the country, each bringing firsthand knowledge of the places they plan.

We support Ronald McDonald House Charities, which gives families a place to stay close to their children in the hospital.

Kaleidoscope Youth Center

We support Kaleidoscope Youth Center in Columbus, which offers safe spaces and support for LGBTQ+ young people.

What it costs to work with us. Most of our planning comes at no additional cost to you, because our travel partners compensate us directly. Some trips do require a planning fee, depending on the trip and your travel advisor. When they do, your advisor will always tell you up front, before you book.
