Choosing your first Atlantis

Which Atlantis is right for you?

Every Atlantis vacation is all gay and all in. The ship or resort changes the feel, and that is where we help.

The big ship

Royal Caribbean charters carry thousands of guests, with the largest parties and the most going on at once. Best if you want the full festival at sea.

Virgin Voyages charters

Adults only ships with no buffets and a design forward feel. A little more relaxed in size, still a party every night. Great for couples and friend groups.

Premium Europe sailings

Smaller premium ships like Oceania Marina, port intensive itineraries and a strong food focus. Best for travelers who want destinations as much as dance floors.

Club Atlantis resort weeks

One beach resort, all inclusive, for the whole week. Unpack once, try a new activity, and still dance every night.

Atlantis questions we get

Before you book

Can I book an Atlantis cruise through a travel agent?

Yes. Atlantis Events works with travel advisors. Booking through Sandpiper Vacations means one person handles the cruise, flights, hotel and transfers, and you have someone to call if anything changes.

Does it cost more to book Atlantis through Sandpiper Vacations?

Atlantis fares are the same whether you book directly or with us. If your trip includes a planning fee, your travel advisor tells you up front, before you commit to anything.

Are Atlantis cruises only for gay men?

Atlantis vacations are designed for gay men, and the wider LGBTQ+ community and allies are welcome on board. Because Atlantis charters the entire ship or resort, every guest is part of the Atlantis experience.

Can I go on Atlantis by myself?

Yes. Plenty of guests sail solo, and the social calendar makes it easy to meet people from day one. We will help you choose a cabin that fits your budget.

How far ahead should I book an Atlantis cruise?

As early as you can. Popular sailings sell out, sometimes many months in advance, and the best cabins go first. A deposit holds your spot.

How is Atlantis different from the Love Is Love Cruise?

Atlantis charters the whole ship, so every guest on board is part of the event. Our Love Is Love Cruise is a Sandpiper Vacations hosted LGBTQ+ group on a Virgin Voyages sailing, with our own events and a smaller group feel.

Tell us which Atlantis you are watching

We will check cabins and pricing and walk you through your options, with no pressure to book.

Sandpiper Vacations is an independent travel agency and is not owned by or affiliated with Atlantis Events, Inc. Atlantis is a trademark of its owner. Sailing details last checked October 2026.
